WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOUR TEETH?
Following the resounding success of their previous film, Scraps, Rivas & Reza Productions set out to craft something even more ambitious. The results pushed Tony and Sharon to new creative heights.
STORY TELLING
Written alongside Scraps, WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOUR TEETH? distills a similarly feminist outlook into a virulent onslaught of genres, including comedy, horror, and the long-neglected musical. It carefully deploys these genres to ramp up its narrative tension to a bombastic and stomach churning conclusion that celebrates humanity’s inherent creaturedom.
conception
WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOUR TEETH? was a multifarious project that involved coordination between several different factions. Part of this collaboration was a direct result of writer/director Tony J Rivas meeting skilled composer Michael A. Levine while promoting Scraps at the 2022 Glendale International Film Festival.
execution
During a festival Q&A, Tony mentioned that his next film was going to be a horror-musical. After the festival, Tony and Mr. Levine kept in touch and eventually ended up collaborating on the titular song for the film. The song was written by Tony and Mr. Levine and performed by Tony and Flamingo, a Salt Lake City jazz band. The result is a deliriously catchy tune that worms its way into the viewer’s subconscious and cushions the film’s gory finale. It must be seen to be believed.
